Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chronic Kronic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rossi comes to the cage accompanied by Talking Heads - Burning Down the House. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Rossi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chronic Kronic!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kronic throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rossi's waist but Rossi gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kronic off to one side.
Kronic displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rossi.
Kronic scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rossi doesn't seem bothered though.
Rossi looks for a takedown but Kronic sprawls well.

and Kronic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Kronic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Kronic throws a strike but Rossi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Kronic has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Rossi off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Rossi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Rossi doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kronic counters with a three punch combo that has Rossi backing up. Rossi nods at Kronic to acknowledge the strikes.
Rossi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kronic tries to avoid it but Rossi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kronic to the ground. Kronic escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rossi dives in and scores a takedown into Kronic's guard.
Kronic is looking to stand up but Rossi isn't so interested in that idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kronic pushes Rossi off and scrambles back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rossi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kronic finds it's way round the side to connect with Rossi's head.
Rossi shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kronic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rossi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rossi fails with the takedown
and Kronic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rossi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kronic avoids it really well and circles away.
Rossi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Rossi is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Rossi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kronic is just riding it out for now. Rossi eventually gives up the hold.
Kronic wants to get back to his feet.
Rossi is trying to control. Kronic wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kronic makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Kronic scores with a takedown into Rossi's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kronic throws a strike but Rossi rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rossi looking to sit in guard and control but Kronic gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kronic lands a couple of digs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rossi working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kronic.
Kronic throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rossi works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chronic Kronic dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kronic throws a big shot that misses.
Rossi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Kronic lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

and Kronic counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rossi!
Kronic lands with some strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kronic postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Rossi looks a forlorn figure.

Kronic lands a big shot there that rocks Rossi but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Kronic lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Rossi! Kronic sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Rossi and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
