Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Corbett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Carson!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Corbett is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Carson.
Corbett scores with a jab to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Carson. Corbett does a little dance to reset his feet.
Some wild striking there from Carson.
Carson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Corbett throws a hook to the side of Carson's head but Carson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A big right from Corbett misses.
Corbett dips to his left and cracks Carson with an uppercut!
Corbett thows a body shot but no joy.
Carson throws a right and a left that both miss.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Corbett smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Danga de danga de dang - Carson scores with a four punch combination!
Corbett tests Carson's chin there with a solid looking shot.


Carson is rocked!
Carson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Corbett as he avoids it easily.
Corbett tries a head kick but it misses.
Corbett pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Carson tries to bum rush Corbett with a series of wild strikes but Corbett uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A punch combination from Corbett misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Corbett lands a head shot.
Sloppy strikes from Carson. Those never looked like landing.
Carson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Corbett throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Corbett uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carson.

Oooh a lovely combination from Corbett sends Carson down but not out. Corbett dives into side control looking to finish.
Carson is still in real trouble! Can Corbett finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Corbett fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Corbett landing a few strikes.

Corbett stands up and beckons Carson to his feet.
Carson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Corbett.
Carson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Corbett.
Carson seems to have recovered his senses.
Carson gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Corbett points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Carson wakes up just in time to hear Corbett thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nathan Corbett!
Our winner, Nathan Corbett, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
