The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Howard lands with a shot to the body.
Howard with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Howard buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Howard checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Howard moves out of range as Pineda strikes.
Pineda misses with a looping right.
Howard jabs at Pineda's body.
Pineda shoots in for a double leg but Howard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pineda tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
A big right from Pineda misses.
Howard misses with a two punch combination.
Pineda looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Howard buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Pineda looks gassed!
A nice leg kick lands there from Howard.
Howard connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Sigfredo Pineda has been cut.
A head kick misses from Pineda.
Pineda takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Howard lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Howard feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pineda's calf.
A decent looking cross lands there for Howard.
Howard thuds his right hand into Pineda's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
An inside leg kick lands from Howard.
Howard swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Pineda.

That has opened up Sigfredo Pineda's cut even more.
Howard walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Pineda drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Howard swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Pineda's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
