Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Drago (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Kermodian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drago comes to the cage accompanied by James Brown - Living In America. The crowd seem to be enjoying Kermodian's choice of entrance music: Arctic Monkeys - Mardy Bum. Ivan Drago had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drago avoids the head kick by Kermodian.
A swing and a miss from Kermodian.
A shot to the liver by Drago. Beautiful body shot.
Drago with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Drago scores with a leg kick.
Kermodian shoots in but no luck this time.
Drago scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Drago fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Drago rushes Kermodian and presses him up against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kermodian is looking to control Drago's arms but Drago gets an underhook and turns him. Now Kermodian has his back to the cage.

Drago digs a right hand into Kermodian's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Kermodian's gas tank.

Drago throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Drago lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Drago lands a left hand that snaps the head of Kermodian backwards.
Kermodian takes a shot to the head.
Drago lands a right hand.
Drago can't find room to land a body shot as Kermodian controls the action.
Drago tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kermodian's elbow.
Drago breaks from the clinch.
Kermodian shoots in for a double leg but Drago sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kermodian throws a low kick but it's checked well by Drago.
Drago feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kermodian's calf.
A jab lands there for Drago.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Drago tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kermodian walks into a straight right hand from Drago.
Drago throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kermodian on the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kermodian takes a jab right on the kisser.
Kermodian stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Drago.
Ivan Drago seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kermodian looks for the body kick but Drago saw that one coming.
Drago lands a body shot.
Drago fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kermodian.
Drago slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Drago plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Kermodian is rocked!
Drago drops Kermodian with a nice combination! Drago dives into Kermodian's guard, looking to finish!
Kermodian is still in real trouble! Can Drago finish him?
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Drago content to stall in guard here.
Drago postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Drago wants to control from the top but Kermodian keeps moving.
Drago advances to half guard.
Drago is nestled in close to Kermodian, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Drago is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Kermodian!
Drago loads up with a big shot that hurts Kermodian! He's pulled Drago in close but Drago has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Kermodian survive? More strikes from Drago and Kermodian is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

A very excited looking Ivan Drago made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
