Champion has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! League Of League Champion will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Santucho for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Santucho takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Santucho shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Santucho showed some decent athleticism there.
Santucho wants to free his trapped foot but Champion is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Santucho looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Champion with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Champion tries to lock up and control but Santucho gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Santucho seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Champion for as long as he can get away with.
