3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Evan Stout! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cote lands a glancing blow to the side of Stout's head. Cote tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stout was well out of range. Poor timing from Cote. Cote misses with a two punch combination.
Liam Cote seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A shot to the liver by Cote. Beautiful body shot. Cote looks to score with a jab to the body but Stout is just out of range. Cote throws a looping overhand right but Stout ducks down to avoid it. Cote jabbing away but nothing is landing. Stout takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cote just misses with a punch to the body.
Stout lands with a nice body punch. Cote throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Stout. Stout darts in and clinches Cote up against the cage. Stout keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cote's efforts to push away. Cote wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
