Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Poslett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evan Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poslett comes to the cage accompanied by Kashmir - Led Zeppelin. Evan Henderson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ben Poslett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Evan Henderson! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henderson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Poslett swats him away and circles back towards the center. Poslett misses with a double jab
and Henderson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Poslett looking for a sweep. Not yet Poslett, not yet. Poslett is working hard here to advance position. Henderson trying to control the position from guard on top but Poslett is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Poslett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Henderson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Evan Henderson wasn't active enough on the ground. Henderson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Henderson showed some decent athleticism there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henderson working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Poslett's thigh. Poslett counters though and makes it back to full guard. Henderson lands a couple of elbows. Henderson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Henderson wants to control from the top but Poslett keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poslett keeping full guard, as Henderson tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Henderson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Evan Henderson wasn't active enough on the ground. Poslett on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henderson misses with a takedown attempt and Poslett counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Henderson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Poslett trying to control the position from guard on top but Henderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Poslett stops Henderson from standing up. Henderson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Poslett. Poslett trying to control but Henderson is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Poslett is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ben Poslett. Poslett darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Poslett not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Poslett is looking for a kimura but Henderson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Poslett to get the leverage. Henderson wants to improve his position but Poslett is controlling well.
Poslett looks to land a strike but Henderson avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Henderson looking to control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Henderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Poslett avoids it really well and circles away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Evan Henderson dominated that round. That's time! Poslett's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Poslett rushes Henderson and presses him up against the cage. Poslett takes an elbow to the forehead. A frustrated look appears on Henderson's face as he tries to break the clinch. Poslett is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Henderson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Henderson breaks the clinch.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Henderson. Henderson has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Poslett checks a leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henderson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Poslett to the ground. Henderson is now in Poslett's guard. Henderson decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Poslett, up you get! Poslett shoots in for a takedown but Henderson shows good takedown defense. Henderson scores a takedown into full mount! Poslett wants to hold on but Henderson pushes him away. Poslett is looking to improve his position but Henderson isn't that keen on the idea. Henderson working the ground and pound effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Henderson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Henderson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Henderson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Poslett can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Poslett is rocked! Henderson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henderson is landing with some decent strikes but Poslett is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Oh Poslett is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Henderson with good strikes from the mount here! A big strike lands for Henderson! That's really hurt Poslett and he's turned his back - Henderson keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Henderson jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
