Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Fuller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rampage Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Fuller could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rampage Silva's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Fuller as Silva shoots in.
Silva throws a sloppy head kick and Fuller moves out of range easily.
Fuller swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Fuller tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Silva's elbow.
Fuller breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fuller moves in looking to clinch but Silva pushes him off.
Fuller tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Silva counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Fuller's guard now.
Silva won't allow Fuller to sweep him here.
Fuller is working hard here to advance position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Silva gets to his feet. Fuller looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Fuller looks to land a combination. Silva sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Fuller will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Fuller is breathing heavily.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fuller but Fuller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Silva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Silva digs a good body shot into Fuller's ribs.

Fuller controls Silva momentarily but Silva frees himself.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fuller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Silva counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Silva tries to control but Fuller wriggling away.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Silva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fuller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rampage Silva dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A punch combination from Fuller misses.
Fuller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Silva rushes Fuller and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Silva tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fuller just stands there and leans against the ropes.

Fuller digs a right hand underneath Silva's ribcage. Silva let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Silva breaks from the clinch.
Silva lands with a thumping leg kick.

Fuller tries to work over Silva's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Fuller prevents a takedown attempt there.
John Fuller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rampage Silva.
Fuller lands a hook that snaps the head of Silva backwards.

Fuller struggles to land a body shot inside as Silva controls his hands.

and Silva counters with a single leg into guard. Fuller didn't expect that.

Silva slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Fuller wants to sweep here but Silva controlling him for the moment.
Fuller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Silva manages to get himself to full guard.

Fuller stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Silva is bucking up trying to escape but Fuller cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Fuller misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Poor strikes thrown by Fuller there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Silva wants to control but Fuller is having none of it.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fuller cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
