Johnson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: seven nation army . Nate Johnson struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.8lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudo shoots and misses
and Johnson counters by moving into the clinch.
Sudo pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Sudo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sudo is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Johnson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Johnson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sudo keeps working.

Johnson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sudo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sudo gets tackled into the cage by Johnson. Johnson maintains the clinch.
Sudo tries to pull guard but Johnson holds him up against the cage and eventually Sudo drops back down to his feet.
Johnson wants the takedown. Sudo is fighting it off but Johnson persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sudo's guard against the cage.

Sudo has his feet on Johnson's thighs here. He's pushed Johnson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Johnson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
