Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ricardo Lombard! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sknerus McKwacz! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McKwacz with a poor takedown and Lombard counters with a single leg into guard. McKwacz didn't expect that. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. McKwacz keeping moving, preventing Lombard from controlling successfully. Lombard trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lombard is working hard here to advance position. Lombard looking to sit in guard and control but McKwacz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Lombard is adopting a defensive guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ricardo Lombard. McKwacz with a lazy takedown attempt and Lombard counters with a shoot takedown. McKwacz fights it but they end up in guard. McKwacz can't keep his opponent in guard - Lombard advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. McKwacz is staying active underneath Lombard, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Lombard trying to control the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lombard throws a strike but McKwacz avoids it easily and moves to full guard. McKwacz keeping moving, preventing Lombard from controlling successfully. Lombard postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McKwacz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lombard, into his guard. Lombard throws his legs up looking for a submission but McKwacz uses it to pass to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McKwacz goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lombard has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for McKwacz but great work by Lombard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lombard is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. McKwacz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Lombard misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lombard moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. McKwacz is not content to let Lombard control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McKwacz gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Lombard dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
McKwacz fails with the takedown and Lombard counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McKwacz's guard now. Lombard trying to control but McKwacz is working from the bottom. Lombard is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Lombard trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

McKwacz misses with a takedown and Lombard counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McKwacz's guard now. Lombard trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but McKwacz manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Lombard has his hands on McKwacz's head, controlling the position.

Ricardo Lombard overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lombard is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Lombard controlling the action here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. McKwacz trying to remain calm as Lombard controls from the top position. McKwacz struggling a bit here. McKwacz dodges the ground and pound from Lombard. Lombard misses with an attempted head punch from side control. McKwacz struggling a bit here. Lombard swings around for an armbar but McKwacz sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Lombard's guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Ricardo Lombard showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lombard, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
