The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arlowski throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Manupbr was covering up waiting for the punch and Arlowski finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Arlowski postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Arlowski accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Manupbr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Manupbr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Arlowski manages to get himself to full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Arlowski holds on and takes a little breather.

Arlowski tries to kick Manupbr off but Manupbr keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Manupbr seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Arlowski does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Manupbr works his foot free and advances to mount.

Arlowski is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Manupbr moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
