The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toro lands a lovely overhand right.

Toro escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Herberg gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Toro tries to get to full guard but Herberg has control of the leg.
Herberg lands with a punch from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Toro wants to get back to his feet.
Toro is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Toro is trying to maintain the position but Herberg is very close to passing his half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Herberg passes to side control.
Toro takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Herberg lands a decent elbow from side control.

Herberg looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Toro is looking for a sweep.

Herberg has an Americana. Toro didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Herberg is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Herberg hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
