Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Urac Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Manx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Urac Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Harvey Manx!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manx closes the distance and clinches up with Hunt, looking for a takedown. Manx pushes Hunt against the cage but Hunt circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hunt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hunt wants it to stay on the feet.

Hunt shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hunt showed some decent athleticism there.
Manx looks gassed!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Hunt is working for a kimura but Manx is defending it quite comfortably.
Manx avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hunt.
Manx is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hunt tries to pass to full mount but Manx defends it.
Hunt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Manx on the ground.
Hunt is trying to control the action in half guard but Manx is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Manx pushes Hunt off looking to stand but Hunt dives back in and keeps control.

We're going to have a standup here because Urac Hunt wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Hunt fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Manx, pushing him back against the cage.
Manx wants to get back to striking at distance but Hunt won't allow it.
Hunt prevents Manx from breaking the clinch.

Hunt has clasped his hands together around Manx's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Hunt tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Manx is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hunt has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Hunt is looking to take a break and control but Manx is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Hunt thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hunt is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Manx is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hunt has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Urac Hunt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harvey Manx.

Hunt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Manx swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Manx wants to get back to striking at distance but Hunt won't allow it.
Manx is trying to break the clinch but Hunt is controlling him.

Hunt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hunt dives in and scores a takedown into Manx's guard.
Manx keeping moving, preventing Hunt from controlling successfully.
Hunt wants to pass the guard but Manx is keeping the position.
Hunt has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Manx is proving hard to escape from.
Manx is breathing heavily.

Manx kicks Hunt off and gets to his feet.

Hunt closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Manx to the mat! Manx manages to get full guard.
Hunt postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hunt trying to control the position from guard on top but Manx is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hunt accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hunt wants to get up but he can't break Manx's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hunt working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Hunt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Manx swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Urac Hunt overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Urac Hunt.

Hunt jumps guard and drags Manx to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Hunt escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manx gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Manx drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Manx jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well Hunt has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
