Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ibi Dah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bang Udin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dah comes to the cage accompanied by Taxi Theme. Udin has chosen Eminem - Not afraid. as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ibi Dah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bang Udin!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Udin shoots in for a double leg but Dah sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Udin shoots in but Dah avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Dah closes the distance and pushes Udin back into the cage.

Dah breaks from the clinch.
Udin fails with a takedown attempt.
Ibi Dah has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bang Udin.

Dah feints and as Udin raises his hands in defense, Dah changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dah scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Dah looking to pass the guard.
Udin wants to control but Dah passes easily into half guard.
Udin tries to roll over but Dah keeps him under control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Udin blocking the ground and pound attempt from Dah.
Dah trying to pass the guard but Udin defending well.
Dah seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Dah is thwarting Udin's attempts to control the position.
Dah wants to lay and pray for a moment but Udin keeps working.
Dah takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Udin actively working from the bottom here.
Dah is trying to control. Udin wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Dah will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Udin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Dah pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Udin is keeping the position for now.

Udin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dah gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Dah has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Udin is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Dah avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Udin looking for a sweep. Not yet Udin, not yet.
Dah is looking to work some ground and pound but Udin has wrist control.
Udin can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dah controls the pace.
Udin keeping moving, preventing Dah from controlling successfully.
Dah stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Udin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Dah keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Udin's head.
Dah wants to pass the guard but Udin is keeping the position.
Dah controls from within his opponent's guard.

Dah trying to control but Udin is working from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ibi Dah just wasn't active enough.
Udin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dah pinned against the cage. Dah gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Dah fails with an attempt to clinch.

Dah moves into the clinch successfully.
Dah tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
A right hand to the body from Dah.
Dah is pressed up against the cage. Udin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dah down to the mat. Dah avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Udin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dah pinned against the cage. Dah gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Udin looks gassed!
Udin fails with the takedown

and Dah counters with a shoot takedown. Udin fights it but they end up in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dah stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Udin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Udin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Dah slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Udin is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Dah is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The referee warns Udin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Dah looking to control and managing it successfully.
Dah's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dah scoring with strikes but Udin is staying in there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ibi Dah dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!



Dah pushes Udin up against the cage in a clinch.
Dah stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Dah works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dah wants to pass the guard but Udin is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Udin keeping moving, preventing Dah from controlling successfully.
Dah trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dah slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Udin is not content to let Dah control the position.
Dah in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Udin is breathing heavily.
Dah wants to control but Udin is keeping him busy.

Dah looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Dah working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
A lull in the action here as Dah stalls from top position.
Dah lands a decent elbow from side control.
Udin is being controlled here.
Udin struggling a bit here.
Udin regains half guard.

Udin gets full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Dah is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Udin has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dah can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dah chips away with some ground and pound.

Dah is pushing down on Udin's leg trying to pass to half guard. Udin is fighting to maintain full guard but Dah has managed to sneak the leg through.
Dah works his way into side control.
The referee asks Dah politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dah prefers to stall for the moment though.
Dah tries to advance to mount but Udin denies him.
Dah is working Udin over with some ground and pound from side control.
Dah content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Dah trying to control the position but Udin is working away.
Dah is really struggling to control Udin but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Dah knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Udin on the ground.

You can see the frustration on Udin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Dah is looking to take a break and control but Udin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Udin manages to get back to half guard.
Udin tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dah content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ibi Dah.
Dah tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Udin paws at him with a jab and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ibi Dah dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Dah looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Udin working for a triangle but Dah defends it easily.
Dah passes Udin's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Dah is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Udin can do to turn this around?

Dah is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Udin has managed to free his arm - good work.
Dah throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Dah working over Udin with some ground and pound. Udin looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Udin is looking to improve his position.
Dah wants to take a breather but Udin is having none of it.

Dah is just content to waste time from the top position. Udin takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Udin looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Dah decides to stand up, so the ref orders Udin to his feet.
Dah tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Udin paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Dah rushes Udin and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Dah lands a nice shot to the body.
Ibi Dah is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Dah lands a left hand.
Dah taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Dah.
A body shot lands from Dah.
Dah presses Udin against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Dah gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Dah wants to pass to mount but Udin is defending the position.
Dah with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ibi Dah just wasn't active enough.

Dah closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Udin quickly recovers to half guard.

Udin actively working from the bottom here.
Dah is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Udin trying to control from the bottom.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dah controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ibi Dah wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Dah wants to clinch up but Udin keeps it at a distance.

Dah shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Udin's guard.

Udin throws his legs up looking for a submission but Dah uses it to pass to side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dah in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Udin gets back to half guard.
Bang Udin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

And that's the end of the fight!
Ibi Dah showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Dah has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
