Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deep Fryer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathew Corson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathew Corson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Deep Fryer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mathew Corson! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corson feints and as Fryer raises his hands in defense, Corson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fryer controlling Corson's posture. Corson postures up.
Fryer seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Deep Fryer. Corson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Fryer misses with a head kick.
Corson gets a clinch. Corson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corson wants to take the fight to the mat but Fryer manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Corson has a couple of punches blocked by Fryer.
Corson blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Corson slowing the pace effectively. Corson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Fryer gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Deep Fryer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mathew Corson. Fryer is defending well against a takedown attempt. Corson successfully pulls guard.
Fryer advances to half guard. Corson is looking for a sweep. Fryer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Fryer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Fryer missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Still in half guard, Fryer seems content to control.
We're going to have a standup here because Deep Fryer wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Fryer tries to clinch up and Corson counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Corson.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Corson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Corson decides to pull guard. Fryer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fryer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Corson for as long as he can get away with. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Fryer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Corson swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Deep Fryer dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Corson tries for a takedown but Fryer circles away easily and Fryer counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fryer. Fryer landing some decent shots from guard. Corson has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fryer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Corson. Corson is working to avoid the ground and pound but Fryer connects with a decent elbow. Fryer just content to control the position. Fryer wants to control but Corson is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fryer decides to stand back up. Fryer moves in looking to clinch but Corson pushes him off. Corson fails with the takedown. Corson shoots in but Fryer avoids the takedown attempt easily. Deep Fryer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mathew Corson. Corson shoots in for a takedown but Fryer shows good takedown defense. Fryer is looking to clinch but Corson is avoiding it.
Fryer closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Corson did well to prevent Fryer getting side control. Corson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Fryer. Fryer is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Fryer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fryer with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Corson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Fryer wants to pass the guard but Corson is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fryer controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fryer wants to pass the guard but Corson is defending well.

Fryer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Corson sprawls well initially but Fryer persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Fryer is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Corson sees it coming and defends easily. Fryer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Deep Fryer dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
Corson shoots in but no luck this time. Fryer misses with a takedown attempt and Corson counters with a nice body kick.
Fryer throws a sloppy head kick and Corson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fryer won't be happy with that. Fryer manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Corson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Fryer is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
