Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Top Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aleksandar Djurdjevic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aleksandar Djurdjevic! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swagger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Swagger takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Djurdjevic trying to control here.
Swagger wants to control but Djurdjevic is keeping him busy. Djurdjevic is looking to improve his position.
Swagger slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Top Swagger. Swagger closes the distance and pushes Djurdjevic back into the cage. Swagger jumps into guard, dragging Djurdjevic to the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Swagger is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Swagger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Djurdjevic on the ground. Djurdjevic wanted to stand there but Swagger had control of the position. Djurdjevic is looking to work some ground and pound but Swagger has wrist control. Swagger keeping moving, preventing Djurdjevic from controlling successfully. Swagger controlling the position. Swagger on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Swagger tries to get out of the position. Djurdjevic working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Djurdjevic trying to control but Swagger is working from the bottom. Djurdjevic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Djurdjevic stands up over Swagger, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Djurdjevic passes easily into side control. Nice work. Swagger tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Djurdjevic throws an elbow but Swagger slips to the side and avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Djurdjevic is defended easily by Swagger. A slapping leg kick lands for Djurdjevic.
Djurdjevic tries to clinch but Swagger moves out of range. Djurdjevic lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Swagger drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Djurdjevic wants to get back to his feet. Swagger scores with punches from side control. Swagger tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Swagger tries for a kimura but Djurdjevic is defending well.

You can see the frustration on Djurdjevic's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Djurdjevic is breathing heavily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A lull in the action here as Swagger stalls from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Top Swagger dominated that second round. That's time! Swagger's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Swagger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Djurdjevic wants to stand up but Swagger is controlling him. Djurdjevic keeping full guard, as Swagger tries to pass. Djurdjevic is trying to control the position but Swagger postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swagger trying to stand up but can't free himself from Djurdjevic's guard. Top Swagger overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Swagger is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Djurdjevic takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Swagger engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Swagger has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Djurdjevic scores with a leg kick.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Djurdjevic pushes Swagger off looking to stand but Swagger dives back in and keeps control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swagger is taking a breather. Djurdjevic says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Top Swagger just wasn't active enough. Swagger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Djurdjevic sprawls well initially but Swagger persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Swagger content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Swagger is pressing down on Djurdjevic's thigh, looking to free his foot. Djurdjevic is holding on for now. Aleksandar Djurdjevic has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Top Swagger is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
