The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killah jabs Mox to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mox will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Killah defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mox.
Mr Mox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Killah closes the distance looking to clinch

so Mox counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Mox stays in close to Killah's body and controls the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mox looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mox perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Killah tries to kick Mox off in order to stand up. Mox Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Mox postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

It looks like Bee Killah has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The referee warns Killah that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Mox has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mox lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mox not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Killah connects with a body shot.

Killah moves in looking to clinch but Mox pushes him off.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Mox.
Killah is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Killah gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

It looks like Mr Mox has been cut.
Mox has Killah pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Killah manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Mox's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Mox has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Killah is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
