Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxxi Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of London, Maxxi Moon!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kimura shoots in and bounces Moon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Kimura looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Moon trying to keep a closed guard but Kimura is proving a slippery customer.
Kimura trying to control but Moon is working from the bottom.
Moon has a closed guard, preventing Kimura from standing up.

Moon has his foot on Kimura's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kimura works his way back into a safe position though.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moon can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kimura wants to control from the top but Moon keeps moving.

Ken Kimura has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Moon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kimura takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Ken Kimura has been cut.
Kimura throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Moon's waist but Moon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kimura off to one side.
Kimura throws a right hand that Moon ducks under and follows up with a left that Moon also avoids with ease.
Kimura takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kimura gets a takedown into half guard.
Moon throws a strike from the bottom but Kimura passes into side control!
Moon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kimura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Moon is not content to let Kimura control the position.
Kimura avoids the strikes from the bottom by Moon.

Kimura stands up.
Moon lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kimura avoids the body shot from Moon.
Kimura fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Moon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Moon lands a big uppercut and Kimura crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Kimura looks OK. Moon waves Kimura back to his feet!

Kimura is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moon lands a nice shot to the body.
Moon ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Kimura is breathing heavily.
Kimura is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Moon doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Kimura crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Kimura's bad books for that mishap!
