Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Donnie Beetle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Beaulac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beaulac doesn't manage to clinch there - Beetle circles away.
Beaulac lands with a nice body punch.

Beaulac lands a head kick. Beetle smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Beetle shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Beetle showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Beetle has Beaulac pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Beetle pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Beaulac tumbling to the mat - Beetle dives into Beaulac's guard.

Jon Beaulac seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Beetle jumps guard and drags Beaulac to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Beaulac is looking to improve his position but Beetle isn't that keen on the idea.
Beetle pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Beaulac tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Beetle breaks from Beaulac's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Beetle sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

I would just about give that final round to Jon Beaulac.
I think Beaulac has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
