Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sonny Ramires (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hoplo Brute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramires comes to the cage accompanied by Bring em Out - TI. Brute has chosen his teams song as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramires shoots in for a takedown but Brute shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ramires takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Brute throws a right and a left that both miss.

A jab lands there for Brute.
Brute wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Ramires looks for a takedown but Brute sprawls well.
Ramires throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brute's waist but Brute gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ramires off to one side.

Brute really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramires. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brute lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
