Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Makebono Bowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Smash Lampjaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lampjaw has chosen Legbas Cux as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowen wants to clinch but Lampjaw slips to the side

and Lampjaw counters with a single leg into guard. Bowen didn't expect that.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Lampjaw slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Bowen is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lampjaw is controlling him.

Bowen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bowen tries to get out of the position.
Lampjaw looking to pass the guard.
Lampjaw wants to control from the top but Bowen keeps moving.
Lampjaw won't allow Bowen to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Smash Lampjaw.

Lampjaw changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bowen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Bowen is trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Bowen's face as Lampjaw controls the position.

Lampjaw tries for a kimura but Bowen is defending well.

Lampjaw thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lampjaw is staying tight to Bowen's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Bowen wants to get back to his feet but Lampjaw is dominant here and he's now got Bowen's back!

Lampjaw has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Bowen has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Lampjaw is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Bowen knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Bowen for a finish.

Bowen won't enjoy being in this position. Lampjaw looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Bowen is tapping - it's over boys! Lampjaw picks up the submission victory!

Smash Lampjaw bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
