Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kofi Kolker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kolker has chosen Here Comes The Kraken as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Hunter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kofi Kolker! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kolker tries to clinch there but Hunter circles away.
Kolker tries to clinch but Hunter is having none of it. Kolker closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hunter circles away. Kolker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hunter's waist but Hunter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kolker off to one side. Hunter scores with a leg kick.
Kolker avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kolker. Hunter scores with a push kick. Hunter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hunter misses with a head kick.
Hunter misses with a looping right. Hunter pushes Kolker up against the cage in a clinch. Hunter scores with a shot to the side of Kolker's head. Kolker wants a takedown.
Jimmy Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kofi Kolker. Hunter throws a punch but it's blocked by Kolker. Hunter digs a right hand underneath Kolker's ribcage. Kolker let out a lung full of air as it connected. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Hunter takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Hunter lands with a right to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hunter wants to stand but Kolker has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Kolker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hunter lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hunter could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kolker keeping full guard, as Hunter tries to pass. Kolker wants to stand and escape but Hunter is having none of it. Hunter has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kolker looks gassed! Hunter wants to control from the top but Kolker keeps moving. Hunter throwing strikes from guard but Kolker blocks nicely. Kolker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kolker wants to get back to his feet but Hunter is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Hunter postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Hunter has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Kolker is proving hard to escape from.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kolker darts in trying to clinch and Hunter counters with a two punch combo. Kolker wants to clinch and Hunter counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Hunter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. It looks like Hunter is going to stand back up.
Hunter winds up and cracks Kolker with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard. Hunter wants to control from the top but Kolker keeps moving. Kolker has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hunter off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Hunter throws a right and a left that both miss. Kolker tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Hunter counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kolker's guard now. Kolker trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hunter decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kolker, up you get! Kolker closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kolker lands in his opponent's guard. Kolker drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Hunter dives on top into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kolker trying to keep a closed guard but Hunter is proving a slippery customer.
Kolker manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Kolker tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Hunter dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kolker lands with a nice combination. Hunter backs away looking to recover. Kofi Kolker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kolker throws a sloppy head kick and Hunter moves out of range easily. Kolker fails with the takedown and Hunter moves into the clinch. Kolker can't get the takedown.
Kolker drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hunter gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Jimmy Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kofi Kolker. Hunter is trying to maintain a safe position but Kolker gets an underhook and turns Hunter into the cage. A bit of stalling here from Hunter.
Hunter is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Hunter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kolkers head. Kolker wants to break the clinch but can't.
Still in the clinch, Hunter scores with a nice short uppercut. Hunter prevents a takedown attempt there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kolker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter just leaning against Kolker, taking a breather. Hunter gets a trip takedown into half guard. Kolker is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Hunter is looking for a kimura but Kolker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hunter to get the leverage. Kolker trying to control here.
Kolker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Kolker has his foot on Hunter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hunter works his way back into a safe position though. Hunter postures up.
Hunter lands a couple of decent looking shots. Kolker is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hunter won't allow Kolker to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kolker looking to control.
Hunter in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kolker trying to control the position.
Kolker lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Hunter! Kolker landing shots from mount. Kolker lands a heavy elbow. Hunter is squirming around, avoiding Kolker's attempts to control the action. Kolker might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hunter kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Kolker sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunter working to try and regain half guard.
Hunter is squirming around, avoiding Kolker's attempts to control the action. Kolker is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hunter can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Kolker blocks Hunter's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kolker tries to control but Hunter wriggling away.
Despite being in the dominant position, Kofi Kolker just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kolker cracks a nice hook into Hunter's ribs. Jimmy Hunter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kolker throws a head kick that misses and Hunter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Kolker shoots and misses and Hunter counters with an outside leg kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hunter, as that shot connected.
Hunter throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Kolker. Kolker throws the kick towards the body but Hunter avoids it. Kolker swats away the attempt to clinch by Hunter. Kolker misses with a combination
and Hunter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kofi Kolker will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Hunter passes Kolker's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Kolker manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kolker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hunter's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunter tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hunter is looking to sweep but instead, Kolker has passed into half guard.
Hunter is trying to stand.
Kolker is looking to take a break and control but Hunter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The fighters are battling for position here. Hunter manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hunter looking to control but Kolker passes into half guard.
Kolker seems to be working for a kimura but Hunter defends the submission attempt. Kolker wants to control but Hunter is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Kolker takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hunter is controlling Kolker's position as best he can from this difficult position. Kolker decides to return to a standing position. Kolker fails with the takedown and Hunter counters with an outside leg kick.
No joy there for Hunter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kolker doesn't succeed with the takedown and Hunter counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Jimmy Hunter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kofi Kolker. Hunter finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kolker wants to clinch. Kolker slips under a jab. Kolker misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hunter dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kolker. That did some damage! Hunter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kolker has a takedown stuffed. Hunter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Kolker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kolker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Hunter connects with a solid leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kolker throws a head kick that misses and Hunter counters with a left and a right that stings Kolker. Hunter tries to bum rush Kolker with a series of wild strikes but Kolker uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kolker shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hunter's guard. Hunter kicks Kolker off and gets to his feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kolker tries to clinch up and Hunter makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Hunter circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kolker slips under a jab. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hunter comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Kolker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Hunter is looking to control Kolker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hunter avoid being mounted?
And that's the end of the fight! Jimmy Hunter showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hunter has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
