Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Paul Laurent!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Eachann blocks the low kick.
Eachann looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Laurent is fending him off so far but Eachann persists. Nope, Laurent circles away and we're back to standing.
Eachann fails with an attempt to clinch.
Eachann shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Eachann was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Laurent can't escape the position.
Eachann can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Laurent is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eachann landing strikes from the mount and Laurent is in trouble!

Eachann misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Laurent is looking to improve his position but Eachann isn't that keen on the idea.
Eachann wants to take his opponent's back but Laurent doesn't allow it.
Laurent is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Eachann gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Laurent misses with an uppercut. Eachann saw that one coming.
Laurent decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Eachann is trying to maintain the position but Laurent is very close to passing his half guard.
Eachann looking for submissions off his back.
Laurent thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Eachann's head.
Eachann is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Laurent pulls his head out easily.
Eachann is breathing heavily.
Eachann has hold of Laurent's hands but Laurent slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Eachann is refusing to be controlled, as Laurent sits in half guard.

Laurent is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Laurent decides to stand and escape the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Eachann has Laurent up against the cage in a clinch.
Eachann can't get the takedown.
Eachann has Laurent pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Laurent manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raphael Eachann. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eachann turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Eachann manages to end up in side control.
You can see the frustration on Laurent's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Eachann is looking to take a break and control but Laurent is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Eachann is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Laurent looks calm but he's in trouble here. Eachann gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Laurent is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Eachann lets go of the hold and Laurent can pop his arm back in it's socket.
