Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jen-Chen Chen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ribert Whitney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jen-Chen Chen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ribert Whitney!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitney ducks under a wild hook from Chen.
Whitney throws a sloppy head kick and Chen moves out of range easily.
Chen takes a swing at Whitney's ribcage but misses.
Whitney fails with the takedown
and Chen counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Ribert Whitney has been cut.
An inside leg kick from Whitney misses.
Whitney uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chen.
Whitney is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Chen lands the left hand.
Chen lands a leg kick that knocks Whitney off balance momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chen wants to slow Whitney down by chopping away at his legs.
Whitney tries to clinch up but Chen circles away and keeps his distance.
Whitney instigates a clinch.
Chen misses with the head strike.
Chen can't find room to land a body shot as Whitney controls the action.
Whitney blocks an uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Chen has Whitney pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Chen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Whitney tumbling to the mat - Chen dives into Whitney's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Chen wants to control from the top but Whitney keeps moving.
Chen postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Chen sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Chen slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Whitney tries to escape but Chen is in control.
Chen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Whitney's shoulder. That is not cool.
Chen has hold of Whitney's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Whitney seems comfortable defending it but Chen has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Whitney is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Whitney is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Chen couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Jen-Chen Chen!
