Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hiroyuki Okamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Okamoto comes into the arena with Feel the Drive blaring out of the sound system. Peter Parker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hiroyuki Okamoto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Parker! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Okamoto throws a series of punches but Parker avoids them all with ease. Okamoto swings away with a leg kick that misses. Okamoto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Okamoto throws a leg kick which misses Parker's front leg but catches the back leg as Parker tries to avoid it. Okamoto tries to clinch but Parker is having none of it. Parker checks a low kick from Okamoto. Nice uppercut there from Parker. Okamoto takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hiroyuki Okamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parker scores with the left hand. Okamoto knows he should have avoided that one. Parker punishes Okamoto's body with a nice straight punch. Okamoto moves forwards but Parker connects with a nice, crisp jab. Okamoto tries to clinch but Parker moves out of range. Parker connects with a single shot there. Okamoto fails with an attempt to clinch.
A jab lands there for Parker. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Okamoto. Okamoto throws a leg kick and Parker counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker lands the left hand. Peter Parker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Parker connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Okamoto momentarily.
Parker smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Okamoto closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Parker's guard. Parker keeping moving, preventing Okamoto from controlling successfully. Okamoto has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Okamoto looking to sit in guard and control but Parker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Okamoto tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Hiroyuki Okamoto just wasn't active enough. Okamoto is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Parker keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Okamoto gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Parker. Good standup being displayed there by Parker as he connects with a hook. Both fighters circling a little - Okamoto finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Parker is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Okamoto had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Parker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Parker misses with a looping right. Okamoto tries to clinch but Parker moves out of range. Nice body punch from Parker. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Okamoto.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Okamoto circles away quickly and effectively. Parker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Okamoto's head backwards. Okamoto misses with a kick to the body.
Okamoto takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Parker scores with a nice head shot. Okamoto rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parker moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Parker gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Parker scores with a sloppy right hand. Okamoto should have avoided that one. Parker scores with a hook to the body. Okamoto takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Parker lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Parker might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Okamoto misses with an uppercut. Parker avoids a kick to the body.
Okamoto takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Okamoto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Parker swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Okamoto. Parker scores with a nice strike. Okamoto feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Parker has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Okamoto off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Parker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Okamoto misses with a head kick.
Okamoto looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Parker moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Okamoto takes a swing at Parker's ribcage but misses. Parker scores with a shot to the body.
Parker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Okamoto forces Parker back against the cage and clinches. Okamoto misses with a hook from the clinch. Okamoto manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Peter Parker will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Parker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Parker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Okamoto looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Okamoto thows a body shot but no joy. Okamoto wants to clinch. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Okamoto is defended easily by Parker. Parker moves into range and connects with a jab. Okamoto looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Okamoto misses with a straight left. Parker cracks Okamoto with an open hand slap.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parker takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Okamoto throws a low kick but Parker moves out of range easily. Parker checks a leg kick. Okamoto tries to clinch up. Parker digs a good hook to Okamoto's body.
Okamoto misses with a wild body shot. Parker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Okamoto throws a leg kick that misses. Okamoto walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. A left lands for Parker. Parker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hiroyuki Okamoto is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Okamoto misses with an attempted mid kick.
Parker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Parker throws out a loose jab but Okamoto uses good head movement to avoid it. Okamoto fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parker manages to avoid it. Parker lands with a cross. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A thudding body kick lands there by Okamoto!
A big left from Parker misses. Parker comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Okamoto walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Okamoto has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Parker finds it's way round the side to connect with Okamoto's head. Nice body punch from Parker. No luck with that takedown attempt from Okamoto. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hiroyuki Okamoto. That's going to take a lot out of him. Okamoto swings away with a leg kick that misses. Okamoto throws a shot from downtown. Parker moves away and avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Okamoto throws a head kick but Parker moves out of range.
Okamoto looks to land a body kick but Parker moved away. An inside leg kick from Okamoto misses. Okamoto throws the kick towards the body but Parker avoids it. Parker bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Okamoto's head backwards. Okamoto throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Okamoto takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Okamoto looks to land a body kick but Parker moved away. Okamoto is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Nice straight punches there by Parker. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Parker.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker connects with a jab. Parker scores with a crisp jab that stopped Okamoto in his tracks. Okamoto throws a body kick that misses. Okamoto takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jab by Okamoto. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Okamoto throws a lazy head kick letting Parker counter with a right hand. Parker moves out of range of the body kick. Okamoto tries to clinch up but Parker circles away and keeps his distance. Okamoto misses with a low kick.
Okamoto throws the kick towards the body but Parker avoids it. Okamoto shoots for a double leg takedown but Parker sprawls well. He's pushed Okamoto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parker scores with a jab. Okamoto acknowledges it with a nod of the head. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Parker checks a leg kick. Okamoto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Peter Parker will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Some bone on bone action there as Parker checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Parker avoids the head kick by Okamoto.

A jab from Parker finds it's way through Okamoto's defenses. Parker listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Okamoto throws a leg kick but Parker moved away. Parker lands with a cross. Okamoto pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Parker lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Parker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Parker scores with a sloppy right hand. Okamoto should have avoided that one. Okamoto is looking to chop away at Parker's legs. Parker listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Parker scores with a one two! Okamoto had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Parker smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Okamoto. Parker shrugs it off though. This has been an exciting period of action! Okamoto walks into a jab. Okamoto gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Okamoto takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Okamoto takes a body punch but keeps moving. Okamoto throws a leg kick that is checked and Parker counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Okamoto thinking. Okamoto throws a lazy right hand but Parker sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Parker scores with a nice strike. A clash of legs there as Parker blocks the low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parker cracks a nice hook into Okamoto's ribs. Okamoto ducks right into an uppercut from Parker. Okamoto misses with a low kick as Parker jumps back. Okamoto tries to land a leg kick but Parker saw it coming and moves away.
Parker connects with a jab. Okamoto walks into a stiff left hand from Parker. Parker throws a good cross that connects.
Parker changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Okamoto misses with a low kick.
Okamoto shoots in and bounces Parker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Parker looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Okamoto tries to free his leg and advance position but Parker is retaining full guard. Okamoto trying to control the position from guard on top but Parker is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker looking to hit a scissor sweep but Okamoto is one step ahead there. Hiroyuki Okamoto has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Okamoto throws a strike but Parker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Okamoto can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Parker controls the pace.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Parker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Parker winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
