Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gunner Redneck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeo Warren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gunner Redneck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeo Warren!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warren throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Redneck's waist but Redneck gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Warren off to one side.
Warren shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Warren throws a head kick that half lands.
Redneck pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Warren throws a nice looking combination but Redneck bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Redneck wants to land a leg kick but Warren is out of range.
Redneck doesn't manage to clinch there - Warren circles away.
Redneck looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Warren manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Redneck on his heels. He'll look to pass Redneck's guard now, I'm sure.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Redneck looking to hit a scissor sweep but Warren is one step ahead there.
Warren must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Redneck is trying to keep Warren in close.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Redneck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Warren would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Redneck is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Warren defends well.

Warren drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Redneck dives on top into guard.
Redneck is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Redneck trying to control but Warren is working from the bottom.

Warren looking for a sweep. Not yet Warren, not yet.

Gunner Redneck has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Warren swats away the attempt to clinch by Redneck.
Warren doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Redneck counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Redneck.
Gunner Redneck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jeo Warren.
Redneck wanted to stand there but Warren had control of the position.
Warren controls Redneck momentarily but Redneck frees himself.
Warren looks gassed!

Warren is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Warren is trying to break free.
Redneck is looking to take this one to the mat.
Redneck wants to get back to striking at distance but Warren won't allow it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Redneck working hard to break the clinch.
Warren gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Redneck.

Redneck has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Warren clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Redneck looking for the choke from the back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gunner Redneck dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Warren gets a clinch.
Redneck with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Warren tightens his grip and picks Redneck up, before dumping him to the ground. Redneck manages to land in guard.
Redneck keeping full guard, as Warren tries to pass.

Redneck has his feet on Warren's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Warren gets caught napping as Redneck dives in and scores a takedown. Warren manages to retain guard.
Redneck missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Redneck stands up from guard. Let's bang!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Warren swats away the attempt to clinch by Redneck.
Warren shoots in for a takedown but Redneck shows good takedown defense.

Redneck tries for a takedown but Warren sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Warren closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Warren fails in his attempt to clinch.

Warren gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Redneck is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Warren isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Redneck stacks Warren on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Redneck!
Redneck cracks Warren with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Redneck working away.
Warren takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Warren is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Redneck is staying tight to Warren's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Gunner Redneck overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Redneck scores with punches from side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Redneck scores with a couple of short elbows.

Redneck has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Redneck throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Redneck fails with the takedown.
Warren tries to clinch up but Redneck circles away and keeps his distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Warren.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Warren.
Redneck wants to control but Warren postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Redneck is looking to regain half guard here but Warren keeps moving and retains side control.

Warren is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Redneck has escaped the position, nice work there.
Warren trying to control the position but Redneck is working away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gunner Redneck dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Redneck keeps the fight on the outside.
Redneck shoots in for a double leg but Warren sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Warren has managed to clinch.

Warren's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Warren closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Redneck's guard.
Redneck is pulling down on Warren's head. It's preventing any offense from Warren, at least for the moment.

Redneck on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Redneck tries to get out of the position.
Warren takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Redneck wants to sweep but no luck.
Redneck keeping moving, preventing Warren from controlling successfully.
Redneck tries to land a sweep but no joy.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jeo Warren hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
A nice leg kick lands there from Warren.
Warren throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Redneck's waist but Redneck gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Warren off to one side.
Warren tries to clinch up but Redneck circles away and keeps his distance.
Warren throws a leg kick but Redneck moved away.
Warren tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Redneck swivels and escapes.
Redneck avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fight stays on the outside here - Redneck looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Redneck darts in and clinches Warren up against the cage.
Redneck goes for a takedown attempt but Warren pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Warren stuffs the takedown attempt from Redneck. Redneck gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gunner Redneck. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Redneck closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Warren moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Redneck is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Warren trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Warren had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Redneck defends it easily.
Redneck content to stall in guard here.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Redneck got a little sloppy there for a moment and Warren has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Redneck has managed to get both his arms back between Warren's legs - danger averted.
Warren tries to strike from the bottom.
Redneck wants to control from the top but Warren keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Jeo Warren has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Gunner Redneck is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Redneck stands up from Warren's guard - Redneck perhaps looking for a knockout.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Jeo Warren.
I think Redneck has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
