Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mika Ker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clark Channell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ker's entrance music is Eminem: Quitter. A fine choice. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mika Ker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Clark Channell!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Channell moves out of range as Ker strikes.
Ker moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Channell throws a series of punches but Ker moves out of range.
Ker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Channell.
A looping hook to the body misses from Channell. Ker does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ker scores with a jab to the jaw.
Channell misses with a wild combination.
Ker connects with a nice looking jab.
Ker scores with a three punch combo!
Clark Channell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Channell thows a left - swing and a miss!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Channell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Channell with a jab.
Ker looks to land a combination but Channell avoids it well.
Ker thows a body shot but no joy.
Ker looks to throw the jab but Channell is out of range.

Ker throws a series of punches but Channell moves out of range.

Channell lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Ker is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Channell gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Channell lands a left hand.
Channell tries a knee to the head but Ker blocks it.
Channell tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Channell wants to take the fight to the mat but Ker manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Ker is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Channell pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Channell tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ker smiles and moves away.
Ker displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Channell.
Mika Ker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clark Channell.

Ker throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Channell tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ker is in Channell's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Channell has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Ker is really struggling to control Channell but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Channell tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Ker wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Channell manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ker's best efforts.
Ker is trying to control the action in half guard but Channell is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Ker is keen to just control but Channell is a slippery customer.

Ker trying to mount his opponent but Channell defends it.
Ker uses his free foot to push down on Channell's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Channell.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Channell sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
