Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Maverick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Come on Maverick - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Lee drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lee prevents Maverick from breaking the clinch.

Maverick has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Lee is trying to keep an underhook but Maverick manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Maverick is trying to work for a kimura but Lee is defending well.
Lee wants to control but Maverick is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maverick is looking to advance position but Lee won't allow it.

Maverick seems to be looking for submissions.
Lee wants to get back to his feet.
Lee should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Lee has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Maverick is working away from the top position though.
Maverick thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.

Maverick working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Maverick wants to free his trapped foot but Lee is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Lee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Maverick manages to get himself to full guard.
Maverick will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lee lands a head kick. Maverick smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Lee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Maverick avoids it really well and circles away.

Maverick shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Maverick's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Lee moves into the clinch.
Lee is looking to control Maverick's arms but Maverick gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lee has his back to the cage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Maverick accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Maverick is controlling him.
Lee is breathing heavily.
Maverick passes into half guard.
Maverick looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Lee with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
