The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wupaski throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mendoza plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Wupaski throws a right and a left that both miss.
The fighters circling - Wupaski throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Wupaski scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wupaski lands a right hook to the body.
Wupaski avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boris Wupaski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mendoza ducks under a wild hook from Wupaski.
Wupaski fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mendoza manages to avoid it.

and Mendoza counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Wupaski fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Mendoza looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Mendoza darts in and clinches Wupaski up against the cage.

Mendoza throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wupaski blocks it with crossed arms.
Mendoza prevents a body shot from Wupaski.

Mendoza pushes off an throws an elbow but Wupaski leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Mendoza lands with a short shot to the head.

Wupaski swings away with an uppercut that misses.
