Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Igor Petrovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Wilson! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wilson looks to land a right hand but Petrovich moved out of range. Wilson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wilson takes a swing at Petrovich's ribcage but misses. Petrovich shoots and misses and Wilson counters with a lovely straight right hand! Petrovich defending well as Wilson loads up on a big left hand. Petrovich shoots in and drives through. Wilson sprawls well. Petrovich closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Wilson quickly recovers to half guard. Wilson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Petrovich is working away from the top position though. Wilson is controlling Petrovich's trapped leg to prevent Petrovich from advancing to side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson wants to get back to full guard but Petrovich has mounted him! Petrovich controlling his opponent. Wilson is looking to improve his position but Petrovich isn't that keen on the idea.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Petrovich avoids the body shot from Wilson.
Petrovich shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Petrovich takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Igor Petrovich. That's going to take a lot out of him. Petrovich avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Petrovich dodges the punch combination from Wilson.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Petrovich feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Wilson trying to keep a closed guard but Petrovich is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. George Wilson wasn't active enough on the ground. Wilson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
George Wilson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Wilson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Petrovich. Wilson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Petrovich. Petrovich tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wilson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Petrovich somewhat. Wilson throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Petrovich's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Wilson dives in looking to finish as Petrovich flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Wilson's strikes! Wilson is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Petrovich's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Petrovich was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). George Wilson! An out of breath George Wilson thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
