Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ned Stanley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hayato Nakahara! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Stanley. Nakahara misses with a takedown attempt and Stanley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Hayato Nakahara has been cut. Nakahara tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stanley paws at him with a jab and circles away. Stanley connects with a jab. Stanley lands with a hook. Nakahara tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stanley scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Nakahara closes the distance and clinches up with Stanley, looking for a takedown. Nakahara pushes Stanley against the cage but Stanley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ned Stanley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hayato Nakahara. Nakahara fails with a takedown attempt. Stanley drives through and clinches with Nakahara against the cage.
Stanley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nakahara is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Stanley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nakahara. Nakahara shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Stanley pushes Nakahara up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A shot in the inside from Stanley.
That has opened up Hayato Nakahara's cut even more. Stanley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fighters circling - Stanley throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nakahara with a lazy takedown attempt and Stanley counters by moving into the clinch. Nakahara ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nakahara no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Stanley postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nakahara is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Stanley throwing strikes from guard but Nakahara blocks nicely. Nakahara throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nakahara pushes a forearm under Stanley's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Stanley is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
