The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Warburton feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Hall is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Warburton is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hall is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hall has escaped and now he's on top!
Hall won't allow Warburton to get back to his feet.

Hall decides to stand and escape the position.
Warburton slaps away a takedown attempt from Hall, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Warburton throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hall tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Warburton is in Hall's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hall is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Warburton defends well.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Warburton tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hall paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Warburton is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hall doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Warburton.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Hall's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
