Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zeke Glisky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Zeke Glisky ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Brown! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown throws a sloppy head kick and Glisky counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Brown tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Glisky decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Brown's guard. Glisky controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Glisky escapes and throws Brown's legs to the side, diving into side control! Brown tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Glisky wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Brown is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Brown looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brown is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Glisky pulls his head out easily. Brown with the active half guard here but Glisky passes nicely into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glisky has knee on belly and moves into mount. Glisky manages to capitalize on a mistake by Brown to take his back! Glisky biding his time, controlling Brown. You can see the frustration on Brown's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Brown is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Glisky is hanging on to Brown's back as he tries to escape.

Glisky has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Brown's body.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Zeke Glisky just wasn't active enough. Brown closes the distance looking to clinch and Glisky counters with a one-two to the body.

Glisky dips to his left and cracks Brown with an uppercut! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Glisky gets a double leg takedown into Brown's guard. Glisky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground. Glisky wanted to stand there but Brown had control of the position. Brown working for submissions but it's allowed Glisky to get to half guard.
Brown is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Glisky passes to full mount! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brown tries to clinch letting Glisky counter with a right hand. Brown tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Brown tries to clinch but fails miserably enabling Glisky to counter with a crisp jab. Glisky scores with a nice strike. Zeke Glisky is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Glisky throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Brown tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Glisky is in Brown's guard. Brown throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Glisky escapes and throws Brown's legs to the side, diving into side control! A lull in the action here. Brown manages to get back to half guard. Brown wants to get back to full guard but Glisky has passed into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brown is trying to work for a sweep but Glisky has mounted him!
That's one minute gone in the round. Glisky content just to control the position here. Glisky gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Brown lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Glisky fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brown sprawls well initially but Glisky persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Brown looking for submissions off his back. Glisky content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glisky seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Brown for as long as he can get away with. Glisky is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Brown has managed to free his arm - good work. Brown looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Brown actively working from the bottom here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Brown is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Glisky pulls his head out easily. Brown is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown is trying to get back to full guard. Glisky content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Glisky prevents Brown from improving his position. Glisky works his way into full mount! Glisky jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Brown manages to avoid the submission attempt. Glisky decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown tries to clinch but Glisky moves away and Glisky counters with a single leg into guard. Brown didn't expect that. Brown looking for subs off his back but Glisky has passed one foot through into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Glisky has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Glisky gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown moves to clinch but Glisky breaks away and Glisky cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Glisky listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Brown throws a head kick but Glisky moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brown drops his hands momentarily and Glisky takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Brown wants to clinch and Glisky counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Glisky pulls Brown into guard.
Glisky is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Glisky pushes Brown off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Brown tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Glisky counters with a lovely straight right hand! Brown gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Brown throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Glisky lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brown tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Glisky counters with a low kick, right behind Brown 's knee. Brown closes the distance but Glisky moves to the side and Glisky counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Glisky pulls guard effortlessly. Glisky looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Brown postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Glisky is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brown, into his guard. Brown is looking for a triangle here but Glisky uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Glisky in side control, just content to control the action for now. Zeke Glisky overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glisky 's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Glisky tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Brown is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Glisky 's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Brown is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Glisky 's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Glisky 's back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brown has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Glisky is in real trouble here. Brown gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Glisky is tapping out! Brown wins by rear naked choke!
