And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Slug Bert!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hasa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bert dodges the punch combination from Hasa.

Hasa tries to sprawl but Bert drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Hasa is not content to let Bert control the position.

Hasa is doing well to control the position and prevent Bert from advancing to side control.
Hasa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Bert is working away from the top position though.
Hasa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bert takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Hasa tries to bum rush Bert with a series of wild strikes but Bert uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hasa will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Bert seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bert accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hasa pushes Bert off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Bert changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hasa tries to avoid it but Bert manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hasa to the ground. Hasa escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
