Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Charles Cozad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Satan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Satan has chosen Bullet For My Valentine - Hit The Floor as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Damien Satan was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Cozad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Damien Satan! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cozad throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Satan counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cozad thinking. Satan pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Cozad back to the cage. Satan follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. A combination from Cozad does no damage. Cozad will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Satan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cozad's guard now.
Cozad is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cozad wants to stand and escape but Satan is having none of it. Satan wants to pass the guard but Cozad is keeping the position. Satan advances position into side control! Satan tries to score with some ground and pound. Cozad controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Satan throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Satan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Satan working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Satan working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Cozad is not content to let Satan control the position. Satan tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Satan advances nicely into full mount. Satan trying to control but Cozad is having none of it. Satan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Cozad kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cozad holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Satan tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Satan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cozad is looking to escape. Satan sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cozad is trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Satan is trying to control here but Cozad has managed to regain half guard.
Cozad is staying active underneath Satan, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Satan tries to pass to full mount but Cozad defends it. Cozad pushes Satan off and gets back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cozad misses with a body kick. Cozad throws a series of punches but Satan moves out of range. Cozad fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Satan checks it well. Satan ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Cozad misses with a combination
and Satan counters with a nice leg kick. Cozad lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Satan finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Satan takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Cozad thows a body shot but no joy. Cozad moves out of range of the body kick. Cozad scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Cozad misses with a looping right. Cozad takes a shot right to the bread basket. Cozad looks to land a combination but Satan avoids it well. Satan scores with a nice body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Satan uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cozad has time to react. Cozad takes a shot right to the bread basket. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Satan misses with a body kick. Satan takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Charles Cozad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Satan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Cozad defends it nicely. Cozad tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Satan was well out of range. Poor timing from Cozad. Satan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cozad to the ground. Satan is now in Cozad's guard. Satan throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cozad works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Damien Satan has got the better of the ground game so far. Satan sitting in guard here, content to control. Satan wants to control from the top but Cozad keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Satan passes easily into side control. Nice work. Satan wants to control but Cozad is keeping him busy. Cozad is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Satan is controlling him well. Satan is looking to take a break and control but Cozad is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cozad defending against the ground and pound. Cozad dodges the ground and pound from Satan. Cozad is not content to let Satan control the position. Satan goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Cozad rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Satan's guard! Nice work there by Cozad!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Satan looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Satan has a closed guard, preventing Cozad from standing up. Cozad gets to his feet - Satan follows without any prompting. Satan throws a leg kick which misses Cozad's front leg but catches the back leg as Cozad tries to avoid it. Satan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Cozad walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Satan shoots in but Cozad avoids the takedown attempt easily. Satan is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Cozad rather than just go for the knockout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cozad throws out a token jab with nothing on it. A jab from Cozad misses. Cozad defending well as Satan loads up on a big left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damien Satan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Cozad fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Satan checks it well. Damien Satan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Cozad is looking to chop away at Satan's legs. Cozad bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Cozad scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Damien Satan has been cut. Satan throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Cozad tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Satan is in Cozad's guard. Cozad preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Satan wants to pass the guard but Cozad is keeping the position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Satan trying to control but Cozad is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Satan throws a strike but Cozad rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Satan has a closed guard, preventing Cozad from standing up. Satan looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Cozad is defending well. Satan quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cozad has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Satan celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Damien Satan! An out of breath Damien Satan thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
