Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chris Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calle Pajander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mullen comes to the cage accompanied by Country Boy Can Survive. Pajander has chosen Giorgio Moroder - The Chase as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Calle Pajander!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullen throws a jab when Pajander was well out of range.
Mullen takes a jab right on the kisser.
Chris Mullen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pajander wants to land a leg kick but Mullen is out of range.
Mullen misses with a wild body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Mullen. Pajander does a little dance to reset his feet.
Mullen thows a left - swing and a miss!

Pajander connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mullen. Mullen circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Horrible takedown by Pajander or perhaps it was just good defense by Mullen which made him look bad.

Mullen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Mullen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pajander keeps working.
Pajander tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Mullen wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Pajander strikes from the bottom but Mullen takes advantage and advances to full mount!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pajander wants to control but Mullen is having none of it.

Mullen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Pajander is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Pajander bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Pajander postures up in Mullen's guard and throws a big left but Mullen blocks it.
Mullen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Pajander is looking for a sweep. Mullen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pajander trying to hold on to Mullen's head to control him but Mullen postures up.
Mullen wants to control but Pajander is keeping him busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A close round but Calle Pajander will probably get the nod.
That's time! Mullen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Mullen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pajander.
Pajander stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Mullen cracks Pajander with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mullen tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pajander is able to avoid easily.
Mullen throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pajander sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pajander throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mullen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Pajander lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mullen takes a step back to recover.
Mullen works the jab nicely.

A slow jab from Mullen misses its intended target.
Pajander fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Mullen takes a swing at Pajander's ribcage but misses.
Mullen drops his hands momentarily and Pajander takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mullen fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pajander.
Mullen throws a solid leg kick but Pajander takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Mullen.
Pajander takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Mullen misses with a leg kick
and Pajander counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Pajander moves out of range as Mullen strikes.
Pajander is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mullen throws a hook but Pajander blocks it.
Pajander has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pajander there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Mullen, right into the meat.

Mullen slips under a jab from Pajander.
Pajander misses with a looping left.
A punch combination from Pajander misses.
Mullen takes a swing at Pajander's ribcage but misses.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mullen wants to slow Pajander down by chopping away at his legs.
Pajander avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Chris Mullen is winning the standup battle so far.
Mullen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Pajander tries a low kick but Mullen avoids it.
Pajander shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pajander shoots in looking for a takedown but Mullen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pajander's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Chris Mullen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Calle Pajander.

Mullen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Mullen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pajander.

The fighters circling - Mullen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Mullen lunges at Pajander with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pajander's hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
