The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shithouse closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Velazquez looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Shithouse in particular looking to stall. Velazquez is trying to stand up here but Shithouse is controlling him well. Ground and pound from Shithouse. Shithouse is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Shithouse works his way into full mount! Shithouse sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Velazquez is trying to stand up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shithouse controlling from mount. Shithouse stands up from mount. Strange move. Alistair Velazquez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shithouse manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Velazquez on his heels. He'll look to pass Velazquez's guard now, I'm sure. Shithouse is pushing down on Velazquez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Velazquez is fighting to maintain full guard but Shithouse has managed to sneak the leg through. Shithouse is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Shithouse working over Velazquez with some ground and pound. Velazquez looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shithouse wants to pass to mount but Velazquez is defending the position. Shithouse controlling the action here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Brick Shithouse hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Shithouse shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Velazquez has hold of Shithouse's hands but Shithouse slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Still in half guard, Shithouse seems content to control. Shithouse looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Shithouse content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Velazquez is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Shithouse scores with a couple of nice shots. Shithouse trying to control the action but Velazquez is working from the bottom. Velazquez looks like he's trying to stand up.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Velazquez is looking to get back to is feet but Shithouse passes into side control.
Shithouse decides to stand up, so the ref orders Velazquez to his feet. Velazquez throws a sloppy head kick and Shithouse counters with a single leg into guard. Velazquez didn't expect that. Shithouse must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Shithouse slips nicely into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shithouse seems to be looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Velazquez is trying to stand.
Shithouse trying to control the pace. Shithouse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Velazquez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Velazquez tries to kick Shithouse off in order to stand up. Shithouse Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Velazquez wants to get back to his feet. Velazquez is not in a great position here, taking some shots. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brick Shithouse dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Velazquez throws a head kick that misses. Shithouse closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Velazquez's guard. Shithouse is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Velazquez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Shithouse controls the pace. Velazquez wants to stand but Shithouse is controlling the position. Shithouse wants to pass the guard but Velazquez is keeping the position. Velazquez keeping moving, preventing Shithouse from controlling successfully. Shithouse stops Velazquez from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Brick Shithouse was stalling too much, according to the referee. Shithouse moves into the clinch. Shithouse has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Velazquez uses from the top position. Shithouse throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Shithouse is controlling Velazquez's posture. Shithouse is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Shithouse escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Shithouse shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Velazquez's guard. Shithouse prevents Velazquez from getting back to his feet. Velazquez trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Shithouse trying to control but Velazquez is working from the bottom. Shithouse has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Brick Shithouse wasn't active enough on the ground. Velazquez on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Shithouse scores with a takedown into Velazquez's guard. Velazquez wants to get back to his feet but Shithouse is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Shithouse is standing up over Velazquez. Velazquez looks to escape but Shithouse dives into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shithouse decides to take the fight back to the feet. Shithouse moves out of range as Velazquez throws a body kick.
Shithouse has managed to clinch.
Velazquez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Shithouse has him pressed against the cage. Shithouse breaks the clinch.
Shithouse moves into the clinch. Shithouse throws a knee to the head but misses.
Shithouse successfully pulls guard.

Velazquez wants to stand but Shithouse is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shithouse looking to hit a scissor sweep but Velazquez is one step ahead there. Velazquez wants to stand but Shithouse has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Shithouse looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Velazquez would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brick Shithouse showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Velazquez blocks a head kick by Shithouse.
Shithouse shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Shithouse showed some decent athleticism there. Shithouse decides to stand up. Shithouse closes the distance and clinches. Shithouse pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Shithouse goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Shithouse instigates a clinch. Shithouse gets control of Velazquez's arms and successfully pulls guard. Shithouse will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Brick Shithouse has got the better of the ground game so far. Shithouse is pulling down on Velazquez's head to control his posture. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Velazquez tries to stand but Shithouse is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shithouse is pulling down on Velazquez's head. It's preventing any offense from Velazquez, at least for the moment.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Brick Shithouse wasn't active enough on the ground. Velazquez throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Shithouse gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Velazquez working hard to break the clinch. Shithouse turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Shithouse manages to end up in side control. Shithouse working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Velazquez wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Alistair Velazquez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shithouse looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Velazquez wants to stand and escape but Shithouse is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shithouse controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Velazquez is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Velazquez will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Velazquez is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Shithouse has his hands clasped together but Velazquez extends an breaks Shithouse's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Velazquez.
