Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Shuhan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Juan Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gonzalez drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Shuhan has his foot on Gonzalez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gonzalez works his way back into a safe position though.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gonzalez wants to stand but Shuhan is controlling his posture from full guard.

Shuhan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Shuhan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Gonzalez defends well.

Shuhan throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Gonzalez passes Shuhan's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Shuhan is looking to control Gonzalez's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Shuhan avoid being mounted?
Shuhan tries to roll over but Gonzalez keeps him under control.
Shuhan wants to control but Gonzalez is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Shuhan kicks Gonzalez off and gets back to his feet.

Gonzalez closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Shuhan quickly recovers to half guard.
Gonzalez seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Shuhan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shuhan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Gonzalez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Gonzalez's back!
Gonzalez is covering up but some of the strikes from Shuhan are getting through and doing damage.

Shuhan looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Gonzalez taps!

A relieved looking Takeshi Shuhan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
