The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nixon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Nixon tries a head kick but it misses.

Hael misses with a wild body shot.
Hael does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Hael throws a half hearted mid kick.
Nixon moves out of range as Hael strikes.
Nixon looks to score with a jab to the body but Hael is just out of range.

Nixon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hael paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hael fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Nixon checks it well.
Hael throws a right hand that Nixon ducks under and follows up with a left that Nixon also avoids with ease.
Hael is looking to wear down Nixon with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nixon lands a nice hook to Hael's body. Hael takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nixon throws a right and a left that Hael avoids nicely.

Nixon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hael was well out of range. Poor timing from Nixon.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nixon tries to bum rush Hael with a series of wild strikes but Hael uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hael feints a jab promting Nixon to slip. Hael then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Nixon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Hael slips a straight right by Nixon.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mic Hael dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Dynamite Nixon's cut.
That's time! Back to the action!
Hael lands a slapping body shot.
Nixon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hael connects with the punch.
Hael throws a head kick that half lands.
Nixon is rocked!
Hael drops Nixon with a straight right hand, right on the button! Hael follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
