The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice jab there from Timonyn.
Timonyn misses with the combination.
Timonyn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Timonyn throws a series of strikes that have Guest backpedaling.
Timonyn throws a nice looking combination but Guest bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Guest has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Timonyn finds it's way round the side to connect with Guest's head.
Guest ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Timonyn moves away.
Dmitry Timonyn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Timonyn connects with a crisp jab.
Timonyn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Some wild striking there from Timonyn.
Timonyn pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Guest back to the cage. Timonyn follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Timonyn is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Timonyn digs a good hook to Guest's body.
Guest shoots in for a takedown but Timonyn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Timonyn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Timonyn wants it to stay on the feet.
