Aconte shoots and misses

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Coryatt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aconte has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Coryatt dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aconte. That did some damage!

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Aconte might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Aconte drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Coryatt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Aconte has Coryatt in his guard.

Coryatt might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Aconte kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well Coryatt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Kevin Coryatt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
