Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Magnus Aconte! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kevin Coryatt! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aconte shoots and misses and Coryatt counters with a nice body kick. Coryatt connects with a leg kick. Aconte looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Aconte takes a kick to the side of the head. Coryatt turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Coryatt pushes Aconte away with a front kick. Coryatt misses with a head kick.

Aconte with a poor takedown and Coryatt counters with a nice leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Coryatt throws a quick inside leg kick. Aconte takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Aconte misses with a takedown and Coryatt counters with a slapping leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Magnus Aconte. That's going to take a lot out of him. Aconte is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coryatt keeps Aconte at a distance using the push kick. Coryatt lands with a kick to the temple. Aconte shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" A chopping leg kick lands by Coryatt. Coryatt lands with a nice body kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! That kick from Coryatt tenderised Aconte's leg. Aconte is trying to keep his angry face on. Aconte takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Aconte avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Coryatt. Aconte shrugs it off though. Kevin Coryatt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coryatt lands the left hand. Coryatt connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Coryatt scores with a leg kick.
Coryatt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aconte. Aconte's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Coryatt connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Aconte scrambles back to his feet. A decent looking body kick lands there for Coryatt. A solid leg kick lands there for Coryatt.
Coryatt feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Aconte's calf. Coryatt scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Coryatt scores with a hook.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aconte with a lazy takedown attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Coryatt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aconte has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Coryatt lands with a thumping leg kick.
Coryatt moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Coryatt dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aconte. That did some damage! Coryatt lands with a hook. Aconte tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coryatt lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Aconte fails with the takedown and Coryatt makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Aconte really felt that one!

Coryatt scores with a push kick. Aconte on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Coryatt. Coryatt obviously looking to wear him down.
Coryatt pushing out the jab but it's not landing. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Coryatt connects with a leg kick. Aconte looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Coryatt connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Aconte to the floor! Coryatt dives in looking for the finish! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Aconte gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Coryatt counters with a nice leg kick. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Aconte might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Coryatt fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Aconte has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Coryatt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Coryatt lands a high kick!
Coryatt lands a head kick that stumbles Aconte and the fighters go to the mat.
Aconte is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Coryatt postures up and lands a big shot to Aconte's brow. Oh Aconte is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Aconte looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's one minute gone in the round. Coryatt forces his way into half guard. Coryatt has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Coryatt is controlling the pace.
Coryatt working Aconte over with strikes. Aconte seems to have got his legs back now. Aconte slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Coryatt looking to sit in guard and control but Aconte gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Aconte drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Coryatt manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Aconte has Coryatt in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coryatt works over Aconte with some ground and pound from guard. Coryatt trying to control but Aconte is working from the bottom. Coryatt might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Aconte kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aconte keeping full guard, as Coryatt tries to pass. Coryatt working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Coryatt with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Aconte has his foot on Coryatt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coryatt works his way back into a safe position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coryatt advances to half guard. Coryatt slips a nice elbow through Aconte's hands, connecting with Aconte's forehead. Coryatt controlling the pace. Coryatt lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Aconte wants to improve his position but Coryatt is controlling well.
Aconte has hold of Coryatt's hands but Coryatt slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Coryatt tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Coryatt wants to take a breather but Aconte is having none of it. Coryatt is nestled in close to Aconte, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Coryatt is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Aconte is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Aconte looking for submissions off his back. Aconte taking some punishment here, with Coryatt in his half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Aconte is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Coryatt pulls his head out easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Coryatt wants to stand up but Aconte has a hold of him and won't allow it. Coryatt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aconte. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Coryatt takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Aconte looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Coryatt showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Coryatt is looking to slow Aconte down with leg kicks. Aconte fails with the takedown and Coryatt counters with a body kick that stops Aconte in his tracks momentarily. Coryatt throws a nice inside leg kick. Coryatt chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Aconte takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Aconte misses with a takedown attempt and Coryatt counters with an outside leg kick.
Magnus Aconte is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Aconte shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Kevin Coryatt seems to be getting the better of the standup. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coryatt lands a head kick. Aconte smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Aconte is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Coryatt lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Coryatt landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Coryatt is trying to control the action in half guard but Aconte is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Coryatt is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Coryatt is looking to advance position but Aconte won't allow it. Coryatt seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Coryatt working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Aconte is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Coryatt's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Coryatt's back! Aconte is looking for a rear naked choke here but Coryatt reverses the position brilliantly into Aconte's guard!

Aconte looking for a guillotine here but Coryatt defends easily.

Magnus Aconte has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Coryatt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Aconte swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Kevin Coryatt comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Coryatt has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Kevin Coryatt! After the fight, Kevin Coryatt was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
