Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dodson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Domena tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dodson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Domena keeps the fight on the outside.
Domena is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Dodson tries for a takedown but Domena circles away easily
and Domena counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Domena.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Domena would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Domena is fighting to break Dodson's control of his arms but Dodson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Domena is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Domena has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Dodson is proving hard to escape from.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dodson is on top in guard.

Domena isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dodson stacks Domena on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dodson!

Dodson uses his free foot to push down on Domena's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Domena.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dodson gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Dodson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Domena is fending him off so far but Dodson persists. Nope, Domena circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dodson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Dodson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dodson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Domena manages to get himself to full guard.
Domena lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dodson!

John Dodson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Domena is stalling here. Dodson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Domena seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Dodson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Domena cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A close second round but Victor Domena will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Domena is just content to waste time from the top position. Dodson takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Dodson has a closed guard, preventing Domena from standing up.
Dodson pulls Domena in close to his closed guard and prevents Domena from doing any damage or advancing position.

Dodson pushes a forearm under Domena's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Domena is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
