Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kris Lovar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Worner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kenny Worner! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lovar shoots for a double leg takedown but Worner sprawls well. He's pushed Lovar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Worner looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Lovar moves into the clinch successfully.

Lovar could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Lovar tries to break free but Worner pushes him back against the cage. Lovar pulls guard successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Worner defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Lovar. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lovar controlling from mount. Lovar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Worner for as long as he can get away with. Lovar throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Worner can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lovar thowing shots but they're missing. Lovar looking to control and managing it successfully. Lovar has control of Worner's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Worner regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lovar pulls guard effortlessly. Lovar wants to sweep but no luck. Worner trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Lovar is trying to control the position but Worner postures up. Lovar has a closed guard, preventing Worner from standing up. Worner wants to control from the top but Lovar keeps moving. Lovar wants to sweep here but Worner controlling him for the moment.
Kenny Worner has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Lovar is looking to clinch but Worner is avoiding it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Worner stuffs the takedown. Worner fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lovar, pushing him back against the cage. Lovar jumps guard but Worner turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Lovar manages to pull guard.
Lovar is striking from the bottom but Worner uses the opportunity to pass into half guard. Worner is keen to just control but Lovar is a slippery customer. Worner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Worner looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Worner is taking a breather. Lovar says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Lovar desperately trying to maintain half guard. Lovar pushes Worner off and gets back to his feet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lovar fails with a takedown attempt. Worner fails miserably with a takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kris Lovar dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Worner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lovar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Worner swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kris Lovar. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Lovar changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Worner tries to avoid it but Lovar manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Worner to the ground. Worner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Lovar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Worner is fending him off so far but Lovar persists. Nope, Worner circles away and we're back to standing. Lovar lands a right hook to the body.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Lovar with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Lovar tries to score a body lock takedown but Worner shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Lovar misses with a short punch on the inside. Lovar is trying to pull guard but Worner turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Worner has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Lovar clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Lovar is keeping busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Worner throwing sloppy strikes. Lovar is keeping busy.

Kris Lovar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lovar manages to scramble and ends up in full guard, under a barage of strikes . Great composure from Lovar.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kenny Worner. Well Lovar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
