Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dizzy Rascal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Circle Jerk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Circle Jerk will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dizzy Rascal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Circle Jerk! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rascal moves in looking to clinch but Jerk pushes him off. Rascal could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Jerk circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jerk shoots in for a takedown but Rascal shows good takedown defense. Rascal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Rascal tries a head kick but it misses.
Jerk cracks Rascal with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Jerk is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A nice combination there by Jerk.
Jerk closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rascal wants to get back to his feet but Jerk drags him back down. Rascal might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rascal is holding Jerk down, trying to stall. Rascal is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jerk's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jerk stalling away here and it's allowed Rascal to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Rascal pulls Jerk in close to his closed guard and prevents Jerk from doing any damage or advancing position. Rascal has his feet on Jerk's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Rascal shoots in for a takedown but Jerk shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Rascal looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rascal with a poor takedown and Jerk counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dizzy Rascal. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jerk displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Rascal. Rascal is breathing heavily. Jerk pushes Rascal up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jerk lands a nice shot to the body. Jerk lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Jerk drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rascal pulls his leg out and moves away.
Nice sprawl there from Rascal as Jerk shoots in. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jerk fails with the takedown. Rascal slaps away a takedown attempt from Jerk, before circling back to the center of the mat. Jerk shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Jerk looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jerk trying to control from half guard but Rascal is working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rascal wants to improve his position but Jerk is controlling well.
Jerk is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rascal sees it coming and defends easily. Rascal pushes Jerk off looking to stand but Jerk dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rascal is not content to let Jerk control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jerk wants to pass the guard but Rascal is defending well. Rascal works his way to full guard. Good work. Rascal working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jerk doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jerk manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Rascal keeping moving, preventing Jerk from controlling successfully. Jerk must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Rascal is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Circle Jerk dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jerk shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Rascal ducks right into an uppercut from Jerk. Jerk rushes Rascal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Jerk jumps guard.
Rascal stays in close to Jerk's body and controls the position. Jerk working a defensive guard but Rascal manages to pass into side control anyway.
Rascal lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jerk down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rascal is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jerk will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Rascal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jerk keeps working. Rascal working away. Rascal advances nicely into full mount. Rascal looking to control and managing it successfully. Rascal working the ground and pound effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rascal controlling from the full mount. Rascal avoids the attempt from Jerk to control. Rascal working for a guillotine from mount but Jerk is in no mood to give up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jerk looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Jerk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rascal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Circle Jerk was stalling too much, according to the referee. Jerk fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rascal, pushing him back against the cage. Jerk manages to break the clinch.
Rascal gets caught flat footed, as Jerk shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Jerk passes Rascal's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Jerk is trying to control. Rascal wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jerk wants to stand up but Rascal is controlling the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Rascal keeping moving, preventing Jerk from controlling successfully. Jerk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Rascal thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Jerk trying to control the position from guard on top but Rascal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Circle Jerk hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Rascal changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jerk tries to avoid it but Rascal manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jerk to the ground. Jerk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jerk shoots in for a takedown but Rascal shows good takedown defense. Circle Jerk seems to be getting the better of the standup. Jerk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rascal sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jerk somewhat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jerk shoots in looking for a takedown but Rascal manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jerk's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Some wild striking there from Rascal.
Jerk lands a jab-cross combination. Jerk lands a glancing blow to the side of Rascal's head. Jerk shoots in for a takedown but Rascal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Rascal shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jerk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rascal closes the distance and clinches up with Jerk, looking for a takedown. Rascal pushes Jerk against the cage but Jerk circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. A momentary lapse in concentration from Rascal enables Jerk to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Rascal manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rascal pushes Jerk off and gets back to his feet.
No luck for Jerk with that takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Circle Jerk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jerk has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
