6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Barry Sanders! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the liver by Sanders. Beautiful body shot. Sanders scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Crash doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sanders counters with a slapping leg kick. Crash clinches with his opponent.
Sanders scores with a shoulder strike. Sanders lands a hook that snaps the head of Crash backwards. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. A body shot lands from Sanders.
Crash is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sanders is working Crash over against the cage. Sanders pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Crash rushes Sanders and presses him up against the cage. Sanders lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A shot in the inside from Sanders. Sanders escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sanders makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Sanders scores with an uppercut up the middle. Sanders lands with a short shot to the head. Sanders digs a right hand underneath Crash's ribcage. Crash let out a lung full of air as it connected. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Sanders throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. A short right from Sanders. Sanders presses Crash against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Good body shot from Sanders.

Sanders's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Sanders escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Barry Sanders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Crash on the wrong end of a nice jab. Sanders dances in with a quick combination. Crash is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Sanders snaps Crash's head back. Crash stumbles backwards against the cage. Sanders steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Crash's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Crash just didn't come prepared.

A very excited looking Barry Sanders made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
