Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Una Kemeameahu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Fenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kemeameahu comes into the arena with Ride of the Valkryes blaring out of the sound system. Una Kemeameahu has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Una Kemeameahu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcus Fenix! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Felipe Paraventi and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fenix moves into the clinch. Fenix stalling the fight.
Fenix lands a nice shot to the body. Kemeameahu breaks the clinch.
Kemeameahu moves in looking to clinch but Fenix pushes him off. Fenix shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kemeameahu defends it nicely. Kemeameahu throws a wild body kick that Fenix sees coming a mile off. Fenix shoots in but no luck this time. Fenix fails with the takedown. Una Kemeameahu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Fenix. Kemeameahu tries to clinch there but Fenix circles away.
Fenix displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kemeameahu throws out the jab. Kemeameahu scores with a hook. Kemeameahu has managed to clinch.
Kemeameahu lands a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fenix is trying to pull guard but Kemeameahu turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Kemeameahu manages to break the clinch.
Kemeameahu throws the kick towards the body but Fenix avoids it. Kemeameahu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fenix. Some wild striking there from Kemeameahu.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kemeameahu. Fenix does a little dance to reset his feet. Fenix fails with the takedown and Kemeameahu counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kemeameahu misses with a left hand and Fenix counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fenix. Fenix looks gassed! The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kemeameahu looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kemeameahu trying to keep a closed guard but Fenix is proving a slippery customer.
Fenix is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Kemeameahu might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kemeameahu working for a triangle but Fenix defends it easily.
Kemeameahu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fenix gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fenix's corner is telling him to maintain position. Fenix trying to control but Kemeameahu is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kemeameahu trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fenix wants to control from the top but Kemeameahu keeps moving. Kemeameahu being controlled here, momentarily.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Marcus Fenix wasn't active enough on the ground. Kemeameahu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fenix paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kemeameahu looks to score with a jab to the body but Fenix is just out of range. Fenix blocks the body kick.
Una Kemeameahu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Kemeameahu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kemeameahu shoots for a double leg takedown but Fenix sprawls well. He's pushed Kemeameahu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kemeameahu gets a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kemeameahu is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Fenix wants the takedown. Kemeameahu is fighting it off but Fenix persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Kemeameahu's guard against the cage. Fenix got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kemeameahu has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Fenix has managed to get both his arms back between Kemeameahu's legs - danger averted. Fenix wants to pass the guard but Kemeameahu is keeping the position. Fenix content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Kemeameahu has locked up a guillotine! Kemeameahu's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Fenix is holding on here and Kemeameahu must be using up a lot of energy. Fenix has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Kemeameahu gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Una Kemeameahu! Una Kemeameahu bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
