Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Zander Rodriguez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, el Steveo!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez wants to clinch but Steveo slips to the side
and Steveo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Rodriguez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Steveo sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Rodriguez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Steveo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Steveo lands with an uppercut that bounces Rodriguez off the cage and back into range.
Rodriguez tries for a takedown but Steveo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Steveo moves into range and connects with a jab.
Steveo throws a series of punches but Rodriguez avoids them all with ease.
Steveo closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Rodriguez is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Steveo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rodriguez's head backwards.
Oh Rodriguez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Steveo walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Rodriguez drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Steveo swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Rodriguez's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). el Steveo!
