Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuya Inoue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lyov Kirijenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Inoue might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Viikate - Viina, terva & hauta. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuya Inoue! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Lyov Kirijenko! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inoue moves out of range of the strikes. Inoue throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kirijenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Inoue sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kirijenko somewhat. Kirijenko takes one to the side of the head.
Inoue fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Kirijenko closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Kirijenko slips a jab and a cross from Inoue.
Kirijenko throws a leg kick but Inoue checks it. Inoue throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kirijenko sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kirijenko takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
A shot to the liver by Kirijenko. Beautiful body shot. Inoue takes a swing at Kirijenko's ribcage but misses. Inoue fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kirijenko avoids it really well and circles away. Inoue has his takedown stuffed and Kirijenko counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Inoue! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Yuya Inoue. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kirijenko dominating with strikes here. Kirijenko with a couple of short strikes. Inoue is looking to get to half guard. Kirijenko looking to control but Inoue is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kirijenko looking to finish Inoue with some ground and pound. This is bad for Inoue!
It looks like Yuya Inoue has been cut. Inoue sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Inoue is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Inoue is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kirijenko missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Inoue gets back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kirijenko loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Kirijenko trying to control but Inoue is working from the bottom. Inoue has an active guard here but Kirijenko has managed to pass into half guard.
Inoue wants to get back to full guard. Kirijenko is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kirijenko drops an elbow to the side of Inoue's head. Kirijenko seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Inoue does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kirijenko trying to advance position but Inoue counters by regaining guard. Kirijenko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Inoue looking for a sweep. Not yet Inoue, not yet. Inoue keeping moving, preventing Kirijenko from controlling successfully. Inoue is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Inoue looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Inoue looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Inoue lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kirijenko! Inoue is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kirijenko has managed to escape the submission attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kirijenko is wriggling around trying to escape.
Inoue is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kirijenko to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kirijenko shrugs it off. Inoue with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Kirijenko tries to reverse the position but Inoue maintains control. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Kirijenko manages to regain half guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Lyov Kirijenko will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Yuya Inoue's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Kirijenko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Inoue pinned against the ropes. Inoue gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kirijenko throws a jab when Inoue was well out of range. Inoue scores with a body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Inoue is defended easily by Kirijenko. Inoue swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Kirijenko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Inoue sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kirijenko somewhat. The crowd cheers as Inoue lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kirijenko doesn't seem phased though. Kirijenko tries to land a body kick and Inoue cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Inoue bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A punch combination from Inoue misses. A head kick from Inoue lands but Kirijenko takes it in his stride. Kirijenko misses with a kick to the body and Inoue counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Kirijenko looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Inoue thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Inoue drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kirijenko dives on top into guard. Inoue keeping moving, preventing Kirijenko from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Inoue looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kirijenko is one step ahead there. Inoue working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kirijenko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kirijenko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kirijenko is looking to advance position but Inoue has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Kirijenko is in all sorts of trouble here.
Lyov Kirijenko has got the better of the ground game so far. Kirijenko is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Inoue wants to take Kirijenko's back but he can't do it this time. Inoue is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kirijenko is surviving well by controlling Inoue's body position as best he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kirijenko tries to hold on but Inoue postures up. Inoue jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Kirijenko manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kirijenko tries to get back to half guard but can't. Inoue works to advance to full mount. Kirijenko defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Kirijenko is trying to escape the mount but Inoue keeps good control and instead manages to take Kirijenko's back.

Inoue is trying to stick to Kirijenko's back but Kirijenko is turning into Inoue. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Inoue's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kirijenko.

Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Kirijenko escapes and throws Inoue's legs to the side, diving into side control! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kirijenko tries to advance to mount but Inoue denies him. Inoue manages to work his way to half guard, despite Kirijenko's best efforts. Kirijenko working the head and body with strikes. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Inoue is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Inoue actively working from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Inoue tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kirijenko swivels and escapes. Inoue looks to score with a jab to the body but Kirijenko is just out of range. Inoue throws a push kick but Kirijenko slaps the foot to one side. Yuya Inoue is winning the standup battle so far. Inoue throws a sloppy head kick and Kirijenko moves out of range easily. Inoue throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kirijenko checks a leg kick nicely. Inoue feints and then cracks Kirijenko's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kirijenko down. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Inoue checks a leg kick. Inoue missing with a left hand there. Kirijenko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kirijenko has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Inoue. Kirijenko looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Yuya Inoue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Inoue tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kirijenko misses with a looping left.

Inoue takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Kirijenko throws a hook but Inoue avoids it easily. Kirijenko fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Inoue to the ground. Kirijenko is now in Inoue's guard. Kirijenko working some strikes from top position. Inoue looking for a guillotine here but Kirijenko defends easily.
Kirijenko wants to control from the top but Inoue keeps moving. Kirijenko stands up over Inoue, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Kirijenko has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Inoue to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Kirijenko is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Inoue pulls down on the head and he's put Kirijenko to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Yuya Inoue! In his post fight interview, Yuya Inoue started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
