The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chrome lands with a straight right. Riffel didn't see that one coming.
Riffel with a poor takedown
and Chrome counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Chrome looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Riffel!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Chrome connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Riffel really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Chrome lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Riffel is in a horrible position here. Chrome smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chrome moves into full mount! Riffel won't be happy about that!

Riffel is looking for a triangle but Chrome pushes his legs off easily.

Chrome stands and throws Riffel's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Riffel takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Chrome tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Chrome in side control, throwing shots but Riffel defends.

Riffel is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Chrome off and has taken his back!
Riffel is trying to stick to Chrome's back but Chrome is turning into Riffel. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Riffel's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Chrome.

Riffel is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Riffel is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Chrome is aware though and is defending well.

Chrome got a little sloppy there for a moment and Riffel has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Chrome has managed to get both his arms back between Riffel's legs - danger averted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Riffel regains full guard. Nicely done.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chrome's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Chrome tries to free his leg and advance position but Riffel is retaining full guard.
Chrome with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Chrome stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Riffel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chrome cracks Riffel with a solid left hand.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Chrome postures up in Riffel's guard and throws a big left but Riffel blocks it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mr Chrome dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Chrome lands a really nice looking cross but Riffel seems unphased.
Chrome lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Riffel with a lazy takedown attempt
and Chrome counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Chrome lands a leg kick that knocks Riffel off balance momentarily.
Riffel shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Chrome counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Riffel is rocked!
Riffel walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Riffel limp body while Chrome jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
