The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haze looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Claudio is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Haze postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Claudio is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Haze, into his guard.
Claudio wants to stand and escape but instead Haze has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Claudio utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Haze is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Claudio is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Claudio has escaped and now he's on top!

Claudio escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Haze gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Haze decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Claudio, up you get!

Haze throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Claudio's waist but Claudio gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Haze off to one side.
